This program trained 1,500 smallholder farmers in organic cultivation methods, soil health management, and crop diversification techniques. Demonstrations were conducted on model farms to show practical approaches for improving yield and reducing chemical dependency. Farmers received guidance on composting, vermiculture, water management, and climate-resilient cropping patterns. The training encouraged adoption of low-cost sustainable practices that improved soil fertility and reduced input costs. Many farmers replicated these methods on their own land, resulting in better productivity and income stability. The program also helped form peer learning groups, enabling farmers to support each other and share best practices. These efforts led to the emergence of pilot organic farms in the region.
